A small room, six chairs, no rush

Sharp work kept simple

Hollow Orbit is a barber room for precise cuts, straight-razor shaves and beard upkeep you can actually maintain at home. One barber, one chair, one head of hair at a time.

How a visit runs

The cut, in three moves

No guesswork and no upsell. You will know what is happening to your hair before the clippers come out.

We talk first

Five honest minutes on growth pattern, cowlicks and how much effort you want to spend in the morning. If a shape will not hold, we will say so.

We cut slow

Clipper work over comb, scissors on top, razor at the edges. Every chair gets the full slot, whether it is a grade two or a full restyle.

We finish clean

Hot towel, neck detail and a dry style so you leave seeing the real shape. You get one product note, not a shelf of them.

Services & prices

Everything on the board

Prices are flat and include the wash, the finish and the advice. Times are the full chair slot, not the cutting time.

The Orbit Cut

45 min$38

Skin Fade

Bald-to-blend work through the sides and back, squared or rounded to suit the head shape.

Straight Razor Shave

Two hot towels, pre-shave oil, a full pass with the grain and a cold finish for the skin.

40 min$36

Beard Shape & Line

Length work, cheek and neck lines set by razor, plus a plain-language upkeep routine.

30 min$28

Cut & Beard Together

The Orbit Cut with a full beard shape in one slot, balanced so the two lines agree.

70 min$58

Under-twelves and clipper-only tidy-ups are priced at the chair. Ask when you request a time.

The room

Dark walls, good light, no noise

Hollow Orbit started as one chair in a borrowed back room. It is bigger now, but the rule has not changed: the shop takes fewer bookings than it could so nobody gets rushed through a cut they will have to live with for six weeks.

The front row is for walk-ins when a chair opens. The back chair is the quiet chair — no music in your ear, no questions beyond the ones the cut needs. Say the word at the door and it is yours if it is free.

Towels are fresh per client, blades are single-use, and everything that touches skin is broken down between chairs. That part is not a feature, it is just the job done properly.

A good cut should look like you on your best day, not like the barber's favourite photo.

Who is on the floor

Three pairs of hands

Ask for a barber by name when you request a chair, or leave it open and we will give you whoever has the right slot.

Mara Quill

Scissor work & longer shapes

Cuts dry more often than wet so the shape lands where the hair actually falls. Best chair in the room for curls and grown-out restyles.

Desmond Vale

Fades & clipper detail

Opened the first chair and still takes the early slots. Builds a blend slowly from the bottom up, then checks it twice in the second mirror.

Theo Ash

Shaves & beard architecture

Runs the straight razor and every beard shape on the board. Will happily talk you out of a line that will not suit your jaw.

Before you sit down

Questions & a chair

The things people ask at the door, and the form that gets you a time.

Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, whenever a chair is open. Requested times are held first, so a walk-in on a quiet weekday morning is a much safer bet than a Saturday afternoon.
What should I bring to a first visit?
Nothing but an idea of how you want to wear it. A photo helps, though we will be honest about whether your hair will do that. Come with it dry and unstyled if you can.
Do you cut kids' hair?
We do, from around age five, and we book them into the first or last slot of the day when the room is calm. Mention it in your request so we set enough time aside.
How often should I come back for beard upkeep?
Most shapes hold for three to four weeks before the neckline blurs. If you are growing length out, stretch it and let us reset the lines once rather than trimming weekly at home.
What if I need to change or cancel a time?
Reply to the confirmation message and tell us as early as you can. There is no fee — the slot just goes back on the board for someone else.
